The 1st Student Future Project” was held in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, planned and operated by Taku Itami, a full-time lecturer at Meiji University, and JR Tokai FUN+TECH LABO as part of the ”Innovation Creation Promotion Center Operation Project.

This event provided university students, who lead the future, with an opportunity to discuss the future of Japan in a “ realistic” way by giving presentations on the theme of “future predictions 20 years from now and what they need to do now to achieve that future” and having discussions with people from companies and cities and towns.

We were able to have many discussions with participants from various major companies, including JR Tokai, as well as city council members. In addition, Pixie Dust Technologies, Inc., of which Yoichi Ochiai serves as chairman, introduced VUEVO, a service for visualizing conversations, as an introduction of the latest technology.
